Shipping

COST?

All Books and Music can be shipped FREE of charge via USPS Media Mail. Additional shipping methods/cost for all other items, including expedited media are available, choices are given during the checkout process. Insurance and delivery confirmation are always at our expense (with the exception of furniture and custom shipments). If you have specific questions or would like clarification, please email or call.

Large items such as furniture may need to be packed and shipped by a professional transport company, email or call to obtain a quote.

Shipping costs are calculated based on size/weight of items purchased. PLEASE make certain that you use the 'click-down' menu for shipping methods/cost during checkout. If you have a Media purchase which can ship FREE, pls make that choice - all others, please click on the shipping method you'd like us to use.. If an item is purchased using the FREE media mail option and it is not media mail, we will follow-up with a PayPal invoice for shipping cost. This must be paid prior to our packing/shipping. We charge only ACTUAL shipping cost on most regular orders. Additional charges may apply on those requiring special handling/crating.

Immediate delivery within 50 miles of the NYC Metro area can be arranged at a very nominal fee for furniture and some artwork. Check with us for details.

HOW?

We ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) or UPS (United Parcel Service - this option available January 1 2010). If necessary to complete your order, we will use another carrier only upon request & at an additional charge. All items will include delivery confirmation and insurance at no charge to the customer for most items (excl: custom and/or large freight).

WHEN?

Most items will be shipped within two business days - most often within 24 hours. We will contact you if this is not the case with your order.

TAXES?

Items shipped to customers in NY, CT, ME will be charged the applicable state sales tax and will be calculated prior to the shipping cost.
